Think of it as a beautifully simple dashboard that removes financial stress and lets dentists focus on their patients, careers, and lives.

We’ve built a modern, user-friendly frontend using v0 by Vercel. Now, we’re seeking an experienced Backend Developer to seamlessly integrate powerful, AI-driven parsing, data handling and secure, encrypted backend solutions.

Your Mission You'll be the architect behind Unmasked’s backend infrastructure. Leveraging cutting-edge AI and no-code/low-code platforms (like Xano, Bubble, or similar tools), your goal is simple yet ambitious: create a secure, automated, and scalable backend system. This system will handle sensitive financial data securely and accurately, ensuring robust encryption and compliance with data protection standards.

What You'll Do:

• Build & Optimize: Develop backend services using AI and no-code platforms that integrate seamlessly with our V0 frontend.

• Security First: Design and implement robust encryption and data-security protocols from day one. Experience or deep interest in cybersecurity is highly desirable.

• Automate & Scale: Set up automated workflows that reliably handle data input, storage, analysis, and presentation.

• AI Integration: Expertly integrate AI functionalities to handle automated extraction, categorisation, and management of financial data (e.g., payslips, tax estimations).

What We're Looking For:

• Proven backend development experience, particularly using no-code or low-code tools (Xano, Bubble, Zapier, Airtable, or equivalent).

• Solid experience integrating and managing AI-driven features and services (OpenAI APIs, machine learning models, automated data processing).

• A passion or previous experience in implementing robust data encryption and cybersecurity measures.

• Clear communicator, organised, detail-oriented.

• Comfortable with autonomy, able to independently suggest and implement efficient solutions.

Bonus Points (but not required):

• Interest or experience in fintech or healthcare-related applications.

• Experience building SaaS products or apps from the ground up.

• Familiarity with UK financial/tax systems.
